"Example 24, Page 33" features a broken piano merengue pattern over a "Pambiche" percussion style. This example is from the book "Merengue Piano Styles" by Carlos Campos http://merengue.camposmusic.com
The publisher ADG Productions will offer a 20% discount off the retail price of $24.95 for the book/cd, just type in "YOUTUBE" in the comments section when ordering from our web site http://www.adgproductions.com
In "Merengue Piano Styles", the author divides most of the examples into Derecho and Pambiche styles.
The piano patterns themselves are divided into Straight, Broken, or Arpeggiated, Patterns in Octaves and Patterns in Tenths.
Selected examples are included in the accompanying CD, recorded at different tempos. Tracks containing bass and percussion only are also included.
The complete set of recordings containing every example in this book are also available in high quality mp3 files (over 300 megabytes of mp3 files) and/or midi files.
