For more information and theatre listings visit http://www.southoftheborderdoc.com Facebook: http://facebook.com/soutoftheborder Twitter: http://twitter.com/southborderdoc There's a revolution underway in South America, but most of the world doesn't know it. Oliver Stone sets out on a road trip across five countries to explore the social and political movements as well as the mainstream media's misperception of South America while interviewing seven of its elected presidents. In casual conversations with Presidents Hugo Chávez (Venezuela), Evo Morales (Bolivia), Lula da Silva (Brazil), Cristina Kirchner (Argentina), as well as her husband and ex-President Nėstor Kirchner, Fernando Lugo (Paraguay), Rafael Correa (Ecuador), and Raúl Castro (Cuba), Stone gains unprecedented access and sheds new light upon the exciting transformations in the region.

  • @exinferiz "start listening to the people in the countries they manage to destroy" Yes, you should listen to those people, a majority of whom elected these leaders into office. Western corporations & western governments pushing neoliberal so-called reforms, mobilized Latin Americans to elect leftist leaders. It was right-wing oligarchs selling their nation's wealth who were destroying economies, not leftists. But that is the right-wing tactic: Blame the left for the theft.

  • VIVA RAUL!!!

  • @exinferiz JAJAJAJAJAJAJAAJAJ okey.

  • @bapyou You are also an idiot. Its not about neoliberalism... Its about simple economic truths which they repeatedly wish to ignore. (Chavez deleting zeros from the currency to deal with inflation!!)These governments are such failures that they have to resort to continuous propaganda and authoritarianism to remain in power. Destroying freedom of speech and destroying businesses. You cannot redistribute wealth if you are not creating it FIRST. They are killing the goose that lay the golden eggs!!

  • Oliver Stone, you are an IDIOT for listening to those imbeciles. Stop listening to their speeches and start listening to the people in the countries they manage to destroy. Shame on you.
