His voice send chills through my body. What a beautiful gift! Dio will live forever in my heart.

Such a lush combination of band and frontman. Ronnie's vocals are unequaled on this song. I've listened to several covers and no one has that exact 'smoke and fire' to their voice that he had. This is one sizzling song. Mystical, sensual, otherworldly. And Rainbow's version has that Middle Eastern flair which totally stokes the hell out of the atmosphere they were shooting for.

What a gem, back from the days before Rainbow tried to go mainstream. Almost a full 2 minutes of complex guitar solo. It's hard to find better Rainbow than this and perhaps "Eyes of the World"... masterpieces!!

yeah he was great and have u seen the rainbow live in munich 1977 dvd rainbow went on at 2am yet put on 1 of the best rock shows ive ever seen and dios singing that night was incredible blackmore seemed to play better in those days i didnt like rainbow after dio went because the band turned into a pop band with joe lynn turner not my style of music and even when deep purple reformed blackmore was never the same again him dio and cozy powell couldve done much more

yeah but ritchie blackmore is a different type of person he is a very private person and on the night in this pub someone else tried to talk to him and he told them to fuck off the only reason he didnt tell me to f off was because i bought him a drink because even though hes not a very friendly person i respect all the great achievements in his career i do wish id have met dio instead though he was a very kind person and 1 of the best metal singers ever

@shredmaster100 You know I can see when people in famous bands do that, when they are busy, and at a concert, or something like that, but if someone is just out like that, and not busy, or really getting bothered he could at least acknowledge a fan, I mean do they even realize we are the reason they are where they are.......

i agree m8 ive actually met blackmore in my village pub in chesham a few years back he was at a place called the elgiva because he wanted to watch a deep purple tribute band play there he is a great guitar player but when i tried to speak to him he didnt say much at all and had a mean stare about him and as we know he is not someone to mess with so i just let him be
