Not the greatest video, but my first attempt at a solo in car video. I forgot to turn the damn camera but getting spanked as bad as I did, I didn't have much time, haha. Oh well it was a fun night.
**Update. This car has CAI, ported throttle body, ported intake manifold, full tune including tranny shift points, and catback exhaust. So I was destined to get my ass kicked, LOL.

Car was not stock and is a lot more to begin with and was to be expected. That thing got it's ass handed to it by an LS1 camaro about 10 minutes before we raced so it's all relative.

The LSx engine is a world class engine pal, for more than 10 years, lol. The Vq35 can't hold a candle to these engines. A poor mans CTS-V still smokes almost anything on the road. Don't try to school me on this. I have smoke G35s, G37s, from a roll and dig. M35s, 350Z, no competition. Sorry.

I hate Altimas. They're nothing but piece of shits. Nearly every ricer has one where I live. A modded out V6 Altima tried passing me up, even while leading off on a red light, and my Camaro kicked it's ass. That driver was pulling little bitch tantrums after: tailgating and even going to the extreme of driving on the opposite side of the street to go in front of me and about 8 other cars. It was total meltdown, I was laughing. Don't fuck with muscle cars!!

@G3TLOOSHemi Hmm, I see cars racing in a straight line in the video, now you want to talk sports cars. And I can name a few but I'll stay with the GN for the moment. In its last year the GNX version was putting out in excess of 300 hp, only the factory knew for sure but they dynoed close to 400hp. Those Buicks still rule to this day at the drag strips. And tweaked GNX's routinely run in the 8's.

@MoCitysFinest1 I have beaten G35's in my stock 2010 Altima, they really are not that fast, especially the earlier models. The VQ engine itself is a quality build. Try and 370z, they put 350z's to shame.

@degaik - I hear that the g8 is "just" a rebadged Holden in a lot of the forums. The motor and tranny is what makes the "holden" a finished package. GM having controlling interest of Holden - makes Holden as much a GM product as any of the other vehicles. When the G8 was retired (ala Pontiac being retired) The remaining stock of G8 fascia was sold as a special edition in Australia - and they continued production as it was so popular! Just my 2 cents. I love my Pontiac Holden G8 :p

@pcfxer - Actually - In reply to the pollution comment - the G8 GT 6.0l v8 has a very low emissions rating - likely not more than the altima when being run at the same performance levels. The G8 GT does have a bose subwoofer amp and speaker system - (which is the majority of stock and modded G8s (GXP too expensive for what it is, v6 isn't as easy to modify) )  My boss owns the CTS - he lovingligly calls my G8 GT the batmobile.

I have a red g8 gt with tune, magnaflows, and RAM air. I get a semi when I see a Hemi, cause I always win, all day. Along with everything else. BTW, no "poor man" is buying a G8 GT. It's not a poor mans anything...

@dsm2xtreme G8GXP mind you...its essentially a Camaro. That said, he doesn't have Bose and he used more fuel and polluted more than your Altima did. But hey, I have a soft spot for the Altima SE-R so I'm biased.
