I had a chance to test-drive the new Digitech TimeBender delay - here are a few clips. ( lots more at http://timebenderdelay.com ) I was playing through a PA instead of my amp, and the recordings aren't the best, but they should give you some idea of the versatility of this box. If I can get another session, I'll use my own amp and guitar and post a more detailed look - but at first glance this thing sounds great and is very very cool!

  • you can use an expression pedal with this too right?!

  • Yes - I'm using it in the looper example to switch from an octave down shift (to create a bass line) to a unison shift for rhythm and lead. I also have a bit of modulation in the toe position.

  • Does the effect complete when you click the pedal off? Or, does it cut the effect short?

  • Are there any videos where people demo it with some raging high gain leads instead of all these clean pussy sounding Strats?

  • this r the giga delay?

  • please tell me it has shimmer?

  • is the time warp mode like the warp mode on the boss pedal where you just hold down the switch and it gives you infinite amount of repeats ?

  • This video is really effecting my decision on which to buy, ...well at least for today

  • After my DL4 died now i'm in the hunt for a good delay pedal/processor. Been a while since i shop for a delay pedal and jeezz .. there are tons of them!

While ppl swears by this, that, analog, expensive, boutique .. this is truly a great pedal in terms of price to features & quality ratio IMHO. Why do we have to complain about things that aren't analog when you ended up mash the sound with distortion and recorded digitally anyway? As long as it's good, it's good. Just my humble opinion. Cheers

  • At 0:08 I really thought you were going to kick into the "could you be loved" intro lol

In my opinion its just another way to modulate, I dont think there are any doors left to kick down when it comes to digitally altering signal, dont get me wrong its an excellent delay but Ive seen it all before.
