I like Gainsbourg very much. Yes, she sings this song differently. But her voice and sensitive touch is very pleasant. She can sing it her way as every artist can. Then people can like it or not. But, if I understand Gainsbourg fanATICS, only Gainsbourg could sing this song (they forget Gainsbourg played Chopin VERY differently...). She doesn't have to smoke and drink alcohol to sing it. Actors don't have to die while playing the role of Argan in The Imaginary Invalid...

Si je te suis, Gainsbourg, qui maniait bien la langue française, doit se retourner dans sa tombe en voyant ton commentaire ponctué de fautes d'orthographe. Qui es-tu pour faire dire à Gainsbourg ce que tu penses TOI ? Anggun interprète magnifiquement cette chanson, clin d'oeil à son origine indonésienne.
