b. Did these two SL125s survive to today?

Rob, In short... yes.
The Honda SL125 had 3 model years:
1971 K0, 1972 K1, 1973 K2. The K-number being like our version/revision/model number or like British "mark numbers". You can google on Honda SL125 specifications and youll find links giving pictures of the 3 models.

My first motorcycle back in the late 1970s was this bike, a Honda SL125K1 (1972). Right now Im restoring a K2 (1973) some 35 years later. Thanks for the blast to the past.
