Remember when my uncle died...one of the best memories was when we saw Rodney live. Shook his hand and had him sign a copy of the album, got some great memories with this music :)

Dylan is another product of the USA... the music, sound and everything else has its home in country and folk just like Dylan. BTW Crowell is a successful, well-known country artist who has been around for years. Just cos this stuff is not on MTV doesn't mean nobody knows about it. Crowell has had lots of recognition, awards, grammys, and worked with the cream of the crop in country music.

Like any writer of his generation Rodney was of course influenced by Dylan, often ends shows with a Like A Rolling Stone cover. But in his own right he's a great American songwriter - and I'll eat my boots if Bob D dont concur.
