@wootangmaster333 not going to change. but thank you for your insight as well. and god bless that person you worked with. i bet they're wonderful:)

@9FDproductions listen, people who argue on youtube are stupid. everyone was born and raised differently. obviously, he was raised in a home situation where he doesn't find it offensive. so thats good for him. however, to me, the r word has become a synonym for the the word "stupid" or "dumb" in our everyday lives. Yes, those born with special needs are slower in the learning process, but they are not stupid. so there's my view, thats how i feel. and there's no need to argue it again because its

@wootangmaster333 i work with a down syndrome person who is 26 years old, he is fully capable of being independent, using technology, and besides a few studders, speaks perfect English, he even went to college, but even he refers to himself as retarded, and if he doesn't take offence to that, why should you?
-
@9FDproductions because that word no longer is used in medical terms. its politically incorrect and rude
-
@wootangmaster333 your pointless science lesson. because my brother will never change, and i know that and I've accepted it because he's the perfect brother for me. the end
-
@missedagain you can give me any statistic you want, but it doesn't change the fact that i love my brother just the way he is. thats all my comment was saying and you blew it out of proportion just like all the stupid ass fucks an youtube always do. it was just a sweet comment i left to show appreciation for my brother. And no, science doesn't know exactly what my brother is capable of because everyone is different no matter what. people are proving scientists wrong everyday. so thank you for

@wootangmaster333 historically defective is defined as a mentally handicapped person, although it is considered offensive. It is, though, lacking or deficient of the proper chromosomal set that human beings by default are supposed to have for proper development so even by modern standards the definition fits, regardless of your hurt feelings.
-
@missedagain And yes, medical science knows exactly what your brother is capable of. He's statistically 1 in 733, and fits within a set of recognized criteria that the chromosomal condition causes. He's not some unique flower, he's just like a kid with webbed toes, except his chromosomal mutation has a much larger effect on his life.
Stop lying to yourself, if you could go back in time and undo trisomy 21 in your brother and you choose not to, you're basically condemning him to a terrible life.
-
@wootangmaster333 Look, you delusion emotion driven fuck, trisomy 21 is a medically recognized impairment of a person. You're telling me that if you could press a button and undo the effects of down syndrome on your brother, while leaving him with everything else (his loving family, etc) the same, you wouldn't? Honestly?
What about all the research showing the developmental issues? The delayed speech processing, the quite common intellectual disabilities, etc? You wouldn't undo them?

@wootangmaster333 its better than saying retarded.
my brother has downs , and autism , and to everyone who says that they are 'retards' will burn in hell . My brother cannot talk , walk , or do anything himself , yet he is the most amazing person I have ever met . he is so loving and gives kisses and hugs all the time . hes so happy , and just an awesome person . it makes me SICK when I see all the rude comments , because they will probably never enjoy the happiness of such an innocent and pure human being, like Anthony .
