@scfd5232 In most parts of the world. The fire brigade is strictly volunteer. That will be returning to America too. Cities can no longer afford the services.

Better to just let the house burn to the ground. Easier to clean up.

I lived there from 1942-1964 and can tell you the riots destroyed HP. I don't know when you were there It was a safe city prior to the riots. I could walk the streets at night. Can't do it now.

I worked in Highland Park from 1996 - 1998. It was the best time in my life as a firefighter. I worked with some of the most dedicated guys, and we fought alot of fire, and we fought it aggressively!! I am still friends with the guys that I worked with. We have a friendship the was truly forged by fire!!!!!

This is just another example of my fellow sould brothers burning down Highland Park. Farrand Park was an upper middle class neighborhood. It became a ghetto after the 1967 riot. My fellow soul brothers have nobody to blame but themselves, There are no honkies in HP>

The entire city has so much history and I enjoyed working there for the entire time. Highland Park is visual proof of economic and social downfall.

no other companies bro, 7 guys is all! he was off-duty just as I was and was leaving for the airport. That's just how they operate, it is what it is.
