Id like to hear your thoughts on health care reform.  Heres how your voice, your questions and your concerns can help shape real American health care reform: please watch my health care town hall video and respond.  What would you have asked me?  What reform ideas did I have that you liked?  That you need to know more about?  Below are four ways to get your message heard:

1. Record your questions on video and send them to me on my YouTube page: http://www.youtube.com/repdarrellissa or;
2. Post a written comment or question in the Comments section under the town hall video on my YouTube page or;
3. Send me a direct message on my Twitter account: http://www.twitter.com/darrellissa or;
4. Send me an email at myviews@mail.house.gov.
Next Friday, October 16, I will select three questions or concerns and answer them in a video post on my YouTube page.

Every American has a stake in this discussion about the future of health care. This video has my ideas. Now I need yours.
Sincerely,

Darrell

  • We Need Tort Reform, why can we not have tort reform. And pre medical condtions should not be a problem. why not, why is it a problem?

  • I was there! at this 3,000+ attended townhall for Darrell Issa's. Everyone was given a fair chance to ask questions and hear him speak. Everyone was well-mannered and respectful listening to others. The Republicans have the "best option!" that preserves liberties, freedom, and provides a more economical and higher quality healthcare system that will preserve all the best qualities of our current healthcare system for everyone.

  • Love It - A much more fiscally sound plan than HR3200. So much for the argument that Republicans haven't got a plan... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, ISSA

  • You have a great solution, let's make it happen, instead of the mess presented thus far.

  • Reducing drug costs by denying advertising in magazines and T.V. to pharmaceutical companies.

    Eliminate abuses in medical lawsuits.

    For me, dependency on Medicare is risky, but my only option with the cost of private insurance company rates.

  • The thousands of citizens who marched on Washington against government run health care have been ignored. What are you and our representatives going to do about it?

    Regards,

    tcurry

  • I watch video, learn li'l, 7 mins pointless ?'s, ambiguous ploitispeak answers. Want 2 no how much money ins. co's, & med. indust. lobbyists "donate" your campaign, Y u design legislation include features 2 benefit ins. co's 2 detriment of constituents. Want 2 know y u and Reps in Congress consistently try defeat every feature health care reform designed 2 give full coverage @ minimum cost. Y u against singl payr univ hlth care 4 all, such programs work 4 majority civiliz nations n world.

  • Please make Privitazing Problems a part of health care reform rather than attempting to legislate peoples lifestyle:

    Require tobacco industry to set up a trust fund to pay all tobacco related health care costs ($90 billion/year) not paid by the individual/insurance.

    Require alcohol industry to set up a trust fund to pay all alcohol health care costs(above patient/insurance) and all public safety, damages, and related costs.

    Require 55 mph speed limit-save medical, death, energy, damage

  • We would like:

    eliminate fraud & waste immediately,

    Limit new legislation to 10 pages, begin with four top issues only each year. ie , tort reform, pre-existing conditions, Require congress to use SS and medicare.

    Require congress to work and live in their districts/states not in Washington.

  • We live in a free market, not a socialist society. We already have a welfare system that's out of control we don't need another federally mandated welfare "option". The government has lost sight of who they work for and what their purpose is. I believe there needs to be on "opt out" option for those of us that don't want a tax increase so our tax dollars can be used to cover the burdens of others.
