I'm not one of those types of fans who hates a team and players bc of some rivarly.But I will admit if there playing eachother I want the Rangers too win,and if it comes down to the Rangers or Islanders making the playoffs i'm going with the Rangers but you would do the same with your team lol

I enjoy the games because there so good. But I can't stand going too the arenas it's not that I don't want too. It's just people are so disrespectful over something silly like who wins a game. It's ok too be intense, but theres a line lol and some Islanders fans have said some nasty things to me. But I'm 15 and have I guess more respect for people then 20+ year olds.

I agree. I went to an AHL game and people were simply obnoxious. People were cursing and simply being disrespectful. Intensity is good but there is no reason to be obnoxious. It was chaos.
A lot of Islanders fans take the rivalry too seriously. I believe that I have a right to be a fan but there is no reason for me to be disrespectful. I guess that makes too of us that have more respect than 20+ year olds.
