in the comic book the death and return of superman - superman does not kill doomsday he just knocks him out even if they fought during the day doomsday would still win doomsday is not affected by kryptonite like superman he was geneticaly engineered to be unstoppable - great vid though mate

Nope. Doomsday is also weak against Kryptonite. But when he was killed by the kryptonite, he resurrected with an invulnerability to Kryptonite.

How about, coz in the comic book series superman dies in the daytime. how about they fight during the night where doomsday causes more damage then when the sun rises weakening doomsday yes he will be inpenetrable but the sun allows superman to cause more damage on doomsday thus ending with doomsday killed by superman and then he dies of his injuries because he is not close enough to the sun for it to heal him

The Jimmy in Smallville isn't the same Jimmy who's featured in Superman later on, that's his little brother who's real name is Jimmy.

This Jimmy was actually called Henry James Olsen.

It might do, but if they ever try to kill Doomsday with the sun's help he'll just come back stronger.

Thing about Doomsday is that every time he's killed his body builds an immunity to whatever killed him. So death by kryptonie; his only weakness is gone and a few meteor abilities gained. Death from getting stabbed by his mum; his skin's impenetrable.

So if he dies by getting fried by some giant torch, then it'll last maybe a day or two...

in the episode eternal, kryptonite (clarks weakness) makes doomsday (Davis) stronger...i wonder if the sun (clarks strength) makes doomsday weaker...its a thought doomsday does come out at night
