R 761 is one of my top favourite steam trains every. She's actully a british engine built in Glasgow Scotland.
She's was one of the 70 class that was first delivered to Australia in 1951.

Yep it is a very good engine. There was 70 made, and only 7 remaining today, but thats better than some other classes of VR steam.

LOL. Well it was worth it. I wouldn't travel far just to see something which you can see every day of course.
