Michael C. acted like a true Chef. If the cameras were not on the other two chefs they would have acted the same way. Kitchens are not a democracy. Dale overstepped his boundaries and made a fool of himself. Good luck finding work in a reputable kitchen after that.

Chiarello acted like a typical Italian, full of bravado until Dale challenged the arrogant guido. Then as is the Italian tradition he tried to run away. As they say in Europe Italian tanks have one gear...REVERSE.

I think Michael Chiarello acted like what a regular employer will do when hiring an employee. It is his choice how to conduct his interview and those who can't handle that shouldn't have joined the competition in the first place.
