10-10-10 Baby Joins Siblings 9-9-09 and 8-8-08

Sunday, October 10, the Spectrum Health Family Birthplace at Butterworth Hospital delivered 18 babies who will share "10-10-10" as a very special birth date. One family, Chad and Barbie Soper of Rockford, delivered baby Cearra Nicole about a month earlier than expected because of complications in the pregnancy. The baby was expected on Saturday but took her time and managed to add to the family's string of special birth dates. Barbie Soper delivered Cearra's big sister Chloe at Butterworth Hospital on 8-8-08 and brother Cameron on 9-9-09. All three children were born at the Family Birthplace. The family had nothing but high praise for the treatment they received from Spectrum Health nurses and staff, with special thanks to Dr. Andrew J. Van Slooten, who delivered all three children.
