that is not what produces tears. They leave that. That is a stupid thing to say

It can be quite uncomfortable for the dog. My 2 year old has a Cherry eye that comes and goes. I am not ready to subject him to surgery since he is deaf and gets frightened easily. I had a female bulldog with a blatant cherry eye and we had it removed and she was very happy with it gone. The main thing is to think about how you would feel if you were the dog.

my bulldogs cherry pops out every few weeks for so, i just "gently" close her eye and push in on that area. it takes 2 seconds, then her eye looks great. but her cherry isn't as big as this dogs.

You don't want that removed that's what lubricates the eye

thats an untreated cherry eye, as soon as u notice something like that on a dog practice a massage techine that can be found in many videos here

my french bulldog had this and i fixed it in 10 minutes , if u leave your dog with that thing it will only get worst and probably will need surgery in the future

its a gland you cant just remove it.thats what produces your dogs tears otherwise the eye will dry out

My english bulldog had cherry eye when she was about 7 months. Your dog can get blind if you dont take him to the Veterinary.
