Is it your job to judge whether they are pure? You need to get down on your knees and ask for forgiveness for being so judgmental to these people and pray to God to open your heart to accept everyone no matter how they look. How would you like them to look? When you look in the mirror, what you do see?

my brother was learning this song,and playing it on his guitar,he past away a mounth later,it was song at his funeral,love it but reminds me to much of my brothers passing

The meaningful words of the song are the only thing that sould be looked at. Judging is no way to be. Judging others has broken my family up over the years and a broken family get together is no fun. thats why this song means so much to me because if my family was all still here things could be different and the family wouldnt be so hateful to each other. Thank God for the song writers and singers who put out these beautiful songs.

With losing my brother mother in law nag grandmother in a 3 month period this song brought me to tears. I know I will see them again

Seeing Vince's humility about the great gift that this song is to others in their time of need and grief is also a blessing....I don't think he realized that in writing this tribute to his brother that millions would be blessed as well......I am sorry for his loss, but in that moment, he has given comfort to so many others...and THAT adds to the "legacy" left behind by his dear brother!!!

@Used2bBlue Why is it that some Christians think everyone has to go around looking sad or "like that", as you put it? Jesus never told anyone that they had to wear burkahs or rags all the time....He left that to the people who have NO HOPE!!
