  • this was a Black Belt level KATA for me (Shorin Ryu)

  • 素晴らしい!

    ここは尼崎支部でのデモンストレーションでしょうか?

  • I practice shotokan but my Sensei has a black belt in the for main styles of karate (shotokan shitoryu wado ryu and gojuryu) and tae kwon do but she is a shihan in shotokan karate and a US team world coach and a world champion fighter

  • Actually u learn this Kata when ur Sensei decides to teach it to you. I learned kanku dai as a 2nd kyu brown belt

  • I love Seibukan Karate!!!

  • Whoa! Now I know where Shotokan's Kanku-Dai comes from. Awesome!

  • I like this guy.

  • there are very advance forms, u learn Kusanku for ex. at shoden level then in 15 yrs at okuden or naiden level your teacher & your experience should mede a different form, not by adding or re interpretations but to be able to apply certain concepts inside every motion. Such as Gammaku, kime, koshi, metsuke, yoriashi, sabaki, tenshin! etc. Renshu!

  • @Abdurazz ....i agree with u...learning the kata can be compared to learning the alphabet...perfection should b the focus, so that our bodies act on auto-response, in accordance to the kata, when the time is required...

  • @Lady0Lela0the2nd

There are no advanced kata, It is the principles, the practitioner that makes the kata advanced. Curriculum stagnates the learning process, and does not allow for individual augmentation. Your first forms, such as Naifanchi or Sanchin already contains the grounding waza's of the uchinanchu martial systems. Train hard, and I hope you have a good day!
