Dota PSA - Switching Treads

Before casting a spell, you can switch your power treads from Str/Agi to Intelligence and increase the size of your mana pool. After casting a spell with the larger mana pool, switching your Int Treads back to Str/Agi will save you mana.
How much you save depends on how much mana you started out with.
EDIT: I used to believe that the more mana you have, the more mana you save, but mathematically, this seems to be not the case. However, regarding your mana level, you will be saving mana either way. So it is still a good habit to get into.
