  • @hellokittyisforlover, I think I have been fair in my comments. What you unfortunately don't understand is that most of those who criticised this video are being malicious. When I decipher that's the case I respond in a forceful manner. People need to respect interpretations. This song's origin is classical, but there is no law that said it cannot be transformed into a Soul tinged song. If you prefer the classical version, there are many available, but don't be rude because you refuse to grow.

  • @neoregulus777 as you can clearly see this is not Star Trek, your favourite cartoon or any other child fantasy you are hooked on, this is real soul wrenching heart-felt singing, and since you obviously have no sense of musical artistry, I advise you stop your idle talk. Shanice professional training in singing and her years of experience along with my expertise render your opinions invalid and senseless - So go play with your sponge bob.

    As for Twitter,...Whatever!

  • @Stefano94x STRAINED? Now there may have been other videos were shanice has sung off key and her resonance was off and has pushed too hard which isn't the same as straining to me but THIS ONE was strained? Get ur ears checked. But I guess this is ur opinion tho. I think u sound quite dumb. If you heard the original she hit all the notes effortlessly and there was no strain at all. Only embellishments that were well executed. Smh.

  • Her interpretation wasn't bad but I prefer the classical version because I musical theatres voices are so much better for these type of songs. And Aretha's version of the song was atrocious. Shanice sang it better.

  • @Stefano94x no, i know what you meant. it's funny that you wrote light years below. lol it cracks me up

  • @kelvinpyaeko I meant Susan's lol. Lil mistake ^^

  • @Stefano94x lmfao at light years below the original

  • LMAO. Susan's rendition is free, powerful, opulent and absolutely impeccable. This is strained, unsupported, choked and thin. Light years below the original.

  • @Trying2show I'm one of mariah fan and I don't think Mariah's voice is for this kind of thing. Her style and voice is more fragile and not as strong as shanice. But I love both of their voices though.

  • BEAUTIFUL! :)

  • Now I wanna see If MARIAH Can Bring it like @1:20 .. i think not!!

  • you are so good !
