I'm turning 21 in 3 days and suddenly I'm a twenty-something - a Twenteen. I'm frantically consuming everything I find on how to...be one. This was sweet and to the point. It gave me a little bit of perspective. Thank you.

Thank you. Yeah, I think I really started to feel it at 28. It's going strong now. Technically, they can pin down the date when it actually happens and it's supposed to go on for a few years or so. Happens again when you're in your 50s and 80s.

You'll know when it happens. It's different for everyone, but the most common characteristic is the realization that certain things aren't working for you anymore, and getting rid of them to become the person you really want to be.

The new series sounds interesting; I'm 27 but I don't think I've hit that shift yet.

Heya, thank you. It's responses like this that make me realize why I do this. I'm not sure if I'll continue this series, but I'm writing a feature right now about Saturn returns which describes the dramatic shift we all go through between the ages of 27-30. It's like there is a new drama/story for every age range!

I loved this! I'm 24 now and am finding that I can relate to so many of these things (even if I was one of those college students who studied on Halloween, haha!). It's reassuring to realize that we all go through the same things around this time; I'm not alone! Thank you! Are you going to continue with 25+? I'd love to see more. :)
