  • I buy my bananas by the case. I talked with my local Produce manager and I now get a case of Dole organic bananas for $30 a case.

  • Do you put ice in also, or do you just drink at room temperature?

  • @FitOnRaw but what do u eat thats raw to reach 2800 cals. i can only think nuts are the highest calorie protein. since u dont cook i assume you dont eat lentils.im a vegetarian and i do cook but even i with a mans appetite have trouble eating 2800 calories lol. my doc keeps telling me that bananas are like the worst fruit since they are very starchy and sugary but i dunno.i usually do vanilla soymilk with bananas smoothie isnt that raw too?

  • Hi! I'm going to start this eating plan in the next day or two. I tried raw last year and enjoyed it very much, however I had some problems that I now recognize were due to it being HIGH IN FAT. I'm used to the idea of fueling up PRE-workout, do you not do that? What do you think about having a green juice or smoothie first thing in morning, then workout, then bananas? I'm trying to figure out the details and have lots of questions! I really like you're approach and am learning a lot.

  • I am very happy that you are trying to achieve a healthy alternative diet relative to the average american diet. I would still recommend reading scientific literature about nutrition, just because of potassium overdose risks.

I personally follow a strict vegan diet, but I hate it when people ask me "Are you vegan?" I am not vegan. I follow a vegan diet. I feel like these terms separate me from everybody else. That's just my opinion. Good luck being a "low fat raw food vegan!"

  • @jetsung89 I eat between 2500-2800 calories each day. It just depends on how active I am. :)
