Not only Hindus , Sikhs also revere Prahlad as a devotee of God . He is mentioned several times in Guru Granth Sahib as a prime example of devotee of Narayan / Hari , not Vishnu .
God is the Savior of Prahlaad. ||3||
With sword in hand, and with great egotistical pride, Prahlaad's father ran up to him.
Where is your Lord, who will save you?
In an instant, the Lord appeared in a dreadful form, and shattered the pillar.

I think it's wonderful and I don't know what this racist rubbish is about. It should be about but it needs to stop. I know make up they would whiten the skin to bring out the eye liner or eye lashes and cover blemish's,make the neck look thinner or the simple or bring attention to them and remind the audience this is the main character. they do it all the time in America by making the women lead really pretty or male lead handsome. So no it's not always a white wash
