2 part etude I composed using 1st and 2nd species counterpoint which is based on the changes to "Stella by Starlight". It is predominantly diatonic (to the syntax of jazz harmony); I used every interval from a min2 to maj7 within this piece.

  • is there any book you studied to develop this type of etude? Sounds Great!!! how to do you like your t146sm? Does it give you any feedback issues when playing at high volumes ,through a cranked tube amp or into an overdrive pedal?

  • @iceman91291 Just worked on it really, maybe I get a few together and put them in a book one day. The Eastman is too lively for o/d really but a great clean sound. Thanks for watching!
