Wake Me Forever (Independent Film) - Teaser Trailer #1

This is the first teaser trailer for the forthcoming low / no budget feature 'Wake Me Forever,' directed by Mark Humphrey. The movie is being shot in Sweden and Australia during 2009/10.

The film is about a man who decides to never sleep again. He loses his mind and eventually finds himself the last man on Earth.

Footage for this teaser was shot in the deserts of North Western Australia on a Panasonic HDC-HS300 at 25p.

would you recommend the HS300 for indie film making?  How did you like working with it, any problems?

Hey there. For what it is - a camcorder - I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It produces a great picture and everything is manually controllable. The only problem is that you need a very powerful computer to edit the AVCHD footage it produces. Editing can be a slow process if you're machine isn't up to spec. But as far as the camera goes, I love it.

Have you applicate a color correction ??

This proves what I have always thought. This camera is capable of so much when you know what you are doing with it. I use it for professional work and I plan on using it for a 10 minute film i have scripted.
