American Idol Transformers Guy & Pope Benedict in the New Orleans French Quarter!

During a visit to the New Orleans French Quarter this Monday, some friends and I spotted a man who could take on the form of an automobile. Astounded at our finding, we stared at the man, and I, camera in hand, learned almost immediately that he had auditioned on American Idol this past February, and his name was Drew Beaumier!

THEN, as if this wasn't enough of a surprise, we witnessed His Holiness (Pope Benedict) taking a stroll through the French Quarter as well!

Yes, it seems as if everyone is showing up in New Orleans for Mardi Gras 2011.
