Re: work. I think we as humans DO have certain qualities, somehow our brains are wired differently and we have passions about either science, communication, teaching, etc..whatever..so why not pursue your passions for work..I can think of lots I'd love to do in a community sense if I had the ability to pursue it. If not..you could always "enlist" at a certain age to work, put in 5 years...then you've done your service to humanity instead of warring and against it. Good points though. Thanks.

An cheer up.. If ye dont youll be just like the kings..

You had me until 4:48 The incentives would be food, entertainment, music, transport.. We just need to bypass money which causes problems in the wrong hands.

(Oh yeah, you can find some 'extrinsic vs. intrinsic motivation' sources here: beswick*info/psychres/manageme
nt*htm and in my incentive playlist! :) -
Also I 99% agree with your ending, in fact you nailed it bc I think that's most peoples' qualm w/ZMF, that there was no clear outline of any transition, and yes, in many cases, piloting these technologies may be "expensive." However, again, I recommend just taking a look at the adciv.org page I pointed you to, bc it makes an excellent point about how the TECH is there, but it's a matter of "sharing the knowledge that these things are possible, and enough people being willing to work towards it."

(3/3) Otherwise good video (IMO) and thank you for just being real & straightforward and not being a d*ck. =P - I think that there's just still a lot you don't understand about what is *actually* being proposed, like the fact that you think people would still "pick up garbage" (lol) or that it would be anything like getting "paid" for doing nothing vs. something. Please take a look at adciv.org/post-scarcity and let me know what you think! ;)

(2/3) that involve boring, monotonous, or dangerous labor, which we can easily automate. Third, it would not take someone SEVEN years of [retarded] medical school in an RBE, where all of life is a fun & engaging learning process, and information & edu. tools are free and available to anyone & everyone. U couldn't stop people from learning if you wanted to, even after the "7 yrs."

(1/3) I was with you until about 4:15, when you said "I think a scientist would figure out that you have to give people an incentive to go to work," when science has already proven that intrinsic motivation produces more/better results than extrinsic, so it's the opposite. People need to be motivated already - on their own - you try to give them one and you f*ck it up. Which brings me to my next point that the only jobs left in the RBE would be the ones people enjoy doing, not "shitty" ones >>

It was made for kids in high school who "don't know all that crap"
The whole wealth discrepency thing is horrible and always pisses me off when I think about or hear about it.
I wish there was some sort of solution to it but the fuckers are protected by everything our societies are built upon and the "elected representatives" (-puke-) are all bought off so they wont do shit about it.
How do we fight them?

Look at all the Zeitgeist cultists in the comments, and you have everything you need to know about their mentality. Gary makes a few levelheaded criticisms of their precious Zeitgeist and they arm up with their "LOLOL U IZ R BEEN BRAINWASHED!!1!11" mantra. The irony of them calling others "sheep" for daring to criticize the Zeitgeist movement while slavishly following everything it tells them is apprently lost on them.
OK, I'm not saying this apply to all Zeitgeist fans, but still...
