Moving Hearts, The unique, there is no other..one of a handful of truly legendary and influential Irish bands.
Recorded at Dublin's Vicar Street during The Hearts sold out four -- night stand in February 2007, the new line DVD and CD 'Live In Dublin' captures some of Ireland's finest instrumentalists at the very top of their collective game.
It's a testimony to fantastic musicians playing music which is unmistakably Irish in origin, but is immaculately imbued with jazz, world music and rock 'n' roll references.
Beautiful music, beautifully played. Enjoy.

Brian Calnan, the original drummer with MH, and one of the finest all round percussionists ever to grace the Irish music scene, has played/recorded with numerous artists of various genres ever since, and one he currently plays with is the Cork Blues/Rock band Hot Guitars, who have been around since the late 70's. I have had the pleasure of seeing Brian play in many venues throughout Munster, and most recently at The Quays Bar in Youghal. Hope this helps. B

The DVD is out today from all good record stores , as they say. There is some more footage to whet your appetite on the official Moving Hearts website. It's powerful stuff isn't it?
