January 31st, 2009. Office aquarium. Serene and soothing. Breathing deeply and calmly. Focus your mind on the sensation of each breath as air moves in and out of your body. Feel tension being released with each exhale. Sit comfortably in an upright position with back straight and supported. When you are comfortable, shift your attention to the aquarium. As your mind starts to wander, gently shift your attention back to the aquarium or your breathing. This is the essence of basic meditation. Relax and enjoy.
