Isn't Albert Einstein GERMAN?????
-
He believed in the God of Baruch Spinoza, but not in a personal god, a belief which he criticized. He also called himself an agnostic, and criticized atheism, preferring he said "an attitude of humility.'
(Isaacson, Walter (2008). Einstein: His Life and Universe.)

At 5:30 "A scientist who believed in God". Just to be clear, he didn't believe in the God they talk about in the news today. He simply called the universe + laws of physics 'God'. If he were alive today, he would be called an atheist.
