LED color exaggerate alot, i find LCD gives the true color of what it's suppose to appear..LED are cool for gaming cuz all of the colors pop out....LCD is bad for editing, cuz it exaggerate and ur final product on a different screen will look different.

OMG! he explained my problem with my LED monitors how I get the snowy distorted effect. My new monitor "NEC" is backlit with CCFL and looks so much better. LED backlights are a gimmick and just conserve energy. CCFL is the way to go for quality. New CCFLs are just as bright if not at times brighter than LED.

LED sounds a bit wonky because of the transition from 'white's' going to grey and color varients. bummer....Unless you can turn that dimming feature off. What i want to know is, do LED's set off the same ugly Dismal, bland, pissy and drab uncolorful glow like LCD's do? since LCD's use a CFL/Flueroscent back.... My other Plasma on the other hand sets off a beautiful glow.

Oh, so that's the difference. I literally thought that LED TVs had LEDs for every individual pixel, resulting in a sharper and more vibrant image... that's not a bad idea, I should patent that shit!

I went with a 60 inch DLP 3D and man for the money I am verry happy. The HD is good and when we watch a 3D HD movie....WOW!!!
