@ThisIsYourComputer Yeah, it would be. But I think people are exaggerating things. I mean, you don't see an inventory screen upon your face in real life either.

I think that the heart was actually a rather cool way to go about it. I'm not too fond of the health cross, personally. If anything I'd go with something like in Silent Hill with the pulse monitor if you wanted a more modern representation of someone's physical state.

The frames were also too...clean. I liked the slightly gritty, natural feed of the wood ones. Perhaps something with more texture and less sterility would look better? As it is I found it hard on the eyes.
