@bashpr0mpt Never seen an auto Sig, so I wouldn't know about thier configs. Manuals here in Aus were either 4 or 5 Borg-Warner (my '84 2.0 had the 5.), or the shitty 4 speed Jap box (no idea what it was named).
@gaijininja They have stock 3 autos, never seen a 5 speed in a sigma, but I've not really frequented or associated with people who mod theirs. But stock standard buys were 3 gear. The AstroN 2600 engine is notorious for it's use in Datto's and it's $50 turbo rigging mostly, it's a good first toy car.
Oh dear. For all those ignoranuses who don't know about Sigmas (or how to Google) Mitsubishi is a Japanese brand, Sigma is a car made by both Mitsubishi and Chrylser. Current evolution is a Magna in Australia, or a Sigma in UK. An Sigma (like in the vid) from Aus either came with a 2.0 or 2.6 Astrom with a Borg-Warner 4 or 5 speed, ALL made in Australia therefore it's an AUSTRALIAN car. (The shitty Jap motor and box are a whole diff story).
Sweet colour dude, btw can you plz tell me where in sydney (if you live there) i can get new crank, rods, pistons and valves for a 2.6L 1982 siggy, i cant find em any anywhere
@gaijininja The 4 speed manual was a borgy aswell. I had one in my 84 GK, strange config for reverse... but ultimately a reliable tranny.
