Comedy songsmith par excellence, cheeky choon-meister Pete Gold plays good clean songs for the nice boys and girls at home. Armed only with a Hawaiian shirt and a guitar, he hopes to bring some musical sophistication to proceedings.
For 7 years, Pete was part of sketch group Fit To Burst. They were finalists in the BBC New Comedy Awards, headlined at the Chichester Comedy Festival and sold out at the Edinburgh Festival three years in a row. The group has appeared on BBC, Channel 4, GLR, STV, & LBC. Pete's album of comedy songs, Hobbledehoy, is out now.
For Comedy Cuts, Pete performed his songs Jehovah, The Gay Song, Lovely Love Song, Text Message Song, and Filth Song at various locations, including HMS Belfast, Hungerford Bridge, the roof of London Weekend Television (where they film This Morning with Fern and Phil) and in a park. Please enjoy.
Fun fact! Pete is also a professional voice over artist and was the voice of short---lived Snicker's spin-off, Snickers Cruncher.
