NOWTIMES: Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter, Kilt-wearer with Global Trad Underground. Guitarist and singer with Utopian Ruins BEFORETIMES: In the beginning there was ickle me, playing guitar one string at a time, listening to my Dads folk choir every Sunday morning at mass. We sang in school with the National Childrens Choir and went to the National Concert Hall to sing. Then one day at the back of science class in Ballyfin College an invisible guitar formed in my hands and I began to strum thin air. Later that day I picked up the guitar and it felt good so I continued to play lots and lots, partly out of enthusiasm, partly because there was nothing else to do. Eventually I began to interact with the human race again and ever since Ive been playing all over Ireland and Europe. The sound can be described as psychedilic and experimental with a firm starting point in folk and progressive music.
