I remember being on the Anderson one year when we were at anchor just north of Detour in the St Marys and while hauling up the hook, we pulled up about 150 ft of anchor chain. My buddy running the winch always said he knew how to fish but I never believed him.

I guess some don't bother to rinse the anchor or let it hang in the water to clean it. Got to have it freeze in the pocket for next time!
