What do you believe about Jesus? Is he a good man? Is he a prophet?
Or is he, as Christians believe, actually divine?
What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he a prophet or more than a prophet?
Why is it important to understand the differences between the Christian and Islamic views of Jesus?
The Topic: Jesus in Christianity and Islam : an Interfaith Dialogue
A dialogue between Abdul Raheem Green and Pastor Kofi
(London Metropolitan University, UK 2007)
The difference between Jesus, Moses, Zakaraiah, and all the other prophets is that he is the only one who calmed or named himself the "Son of God", no other prophet used words like Messiah, Son of God, or Savior when describing themselves. The other prophets merely titled themselves prophets. Tell me which other prophet had a virgin birth and ressurected after he died to show all that he is the true christ? It's just not the same.

So he also warned us of those who would come after him. But, the only thing he said that will come is himself. I mentioned his own return, not the coming of a new prophet. Please show me in the Bible where Jesus says a new prophet would come after him?

Its funny you mentioned about someone else coming after Jesus. Because I recall Jesus saying "I am the last, no other will come after me". I also recall him saying that there will be many others who will come after him claiming to be him or like him, many will calm with false prophecies, etc...

@CubanStylez101 jesus christ or any prophet of god perform miracles as a sign to his people who among them had doubts to know this man was sent by god, jesus is fortold in the bible that is true, there where 3 fortoldments so to speak in the bible one was john the baptist, one was the massiah, and jesus prophesized about someone else to come near the end of john, the story doesnt end with jesus, mohammed was fortold in the bible in two places, 1 in songs of solomon and by jesus the massiah

@CubanStylez101 why is his coming talked about so much in the old testament? think about it this way, every prophet sent to us (humans) had miracles, moses parted the red sea thats amazing, solomon was giving powers to control the winds etc, abraham was given mircales his father threw him into a fire and wasnt harmed, jacob, david, zakariah, and all the prophets had mircales, jesus said asked about his miracles i can of myself do nothing but what i am commanded to do by god that is what i do

@ajhersi2 I also believe that Mohammad did not do any of those things either. Plus Jesus' birth and death were prohesised in the old testament. I am not disrespecting here but I can not compare Mohammad, Adam, and Eve to Jesus Christ. It is not the same. If Jesus was just any other prophet or being created by God, why is he the main character in the new testament? And why is his coming talked about so much in the old testament? I think he is much more than just another creation.

@ajhersi2 I don't deny that Adam and Eve were created by God, they did not have human parents, but I can not compare them to Jesus. I am sorry but Adam and Eve did not amazing, they did not raise the dead or cure sickness. They did not go around and preach the word of God. And they also did not die on the cross and then resurect.

@CubanStylez101 we as muslims dont say mohammad is better than jesus or jesus is better than mohammad they have both been sent by God, they have distinctions, jesus was born without a father, God does what he wills, he created adam without a father, and without a mother, he also created eve without a mother or father, the likeness of jesus God tells us in the quran is the likeness of adam, he created them from nothing and said be and they were,we as muslims love jesus probably even more :)

even the Muslims admit Jesus has a unique birth. Unlike Mohammad. I mean compare the birth, life, and deaths of both Mohammad and Jesus, you tell me which one sounds more like a prophet or which one sounds more important than the other?

The Prophet Habakkuk tell us in 1:5 LOOK AT THE NATIONS AND PAY ATTENTION! YOU WILL BE SHOCKED AND AMAZED! FOR I WILL DO SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFETIME THAT YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE FOREWARNED.
