Well I'm here in the SE and I usually resent fake southern accents but it just doesn't bother me here, maybe because they're such a bunch of goodnatured guys.

God- i hate this song. I really despise mick's attempt to speak in a southern drawl. The best part of this song is the part about runnin' 20 red lights in honor of God.

Guess you really don't get the Stones. Ever heard "Prodigal Son" on Beggars Banquet? Too bad for you.

No friend, the stones are one of my all time favorite bands. I get them and I get this song but I don't dig it, and of course I've heard prodigal son

BTW Mick said that country music didn't fit his voice but Keith's and I completely agree

You need to go back and listen to "Hand of Fate". Fucking awesome. Also "Crazy Momma" is good too.

Wow, I've heard songs where they threaten to kill women, but not ones where they threaten to blow their kneecaps off. Sweet. Both of them were great. Thanks for the advice.

Guess you miss understood the lyrics of Hand of Fate.
He was a barroom man.
The violent kind.
He had no love for that gal of mine.
And then one day in a drinking bout.
He swore he would throw me right out of town.
The hand of Fate is on me now.
I shot that man.
I put him underground.

I had saved her life.
I gunned him twice.
