just a quick vid of the car running after i did a quick time and tune before a track outing. small block, edelbrock rpm heads and intake. holley HP carb. 12 bolt with new 4.11s and south side lift bars. hoping to break into the 11s with my 10.1-1 home build turd. full exhaust and small tube headers even. definately mild enough to drive on the street easily too. take it to work once in a while just for kicks.
and just for the record, comp XE284 and dynomax ultraflows, 2.5"

  • 406. heads were out of the box. after this vid they were cut .020 and mild porting and polished chambers. converter is a JW3000. cam is a comp XE284 240/246 507/510. still runs 93 octane and clicks off 11s :)

  • How did you get this thing to pass smog?

  • no smog in my area thank god. and to update 11.89 @111. popped the head gaskets then. 11s on blown head gaskets....awesome!!!

  • well its a home built motor. cost of parts about $4500. but lets just say its worth the $. average compression with a 3.55 gear was good for almost 11s, and its mild enough i would drive it 20 miles to the track!
