This is a short video of YN*DF - EMS Boots that were given to members to wear 8 to 16 hours a day while on duty. As you can see the NFPA 1951 and 1977 standard boots are not made for continues use, much less to be warn 8 to 16 hours, BUT are mandatory to be warn while on duty with no exceptions. In this video we have 1 pair of Thorogood Work/Duty boots (Warn for 3 years), Brand New Rocky FirstMed EMS boots (BBP Proof), Total Fire Group Model 6006 (NFPA Standard 1951 Tactical Rescue Boots which by the way is the new standard for Urban Search and Rescue), and last but not least the brand new alternative REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION boots from HAIX. HAIX Special Fighter Xtreme (NFPA Standard 1977 Wild Land Fire Fighting as well as 1951 too; you know it fights fires so it must be Tactical Rescue too) Yet all EMS needs is a BBP Proof boots which is any regular EMS boot; which in turn is the Rocky FirstMed EMS boot.
