2- North West Tribes. include the fact that aside from the Aztecs and other tribes in the south, that these north west peoples also used metal for currency and weapons. Copper at first, and later Iron after European contact. they made exquisite daggers! and hardly anyone knows just how advanced these tribes really were. almost a Maori type society. with good big wooden houses and carving everywhere on doors, poles, implemants, etc!

Social Studies. i would make all students feel included by focusing on everyones traditional cultures, and the metamorphosis of these cultures through the ages. this may even reintroduce to some students theyre own culture they never even heard about.
