@PrairieRockz It's the culture, They don't say hi or by like we do, always just peace be with you or what is your peaces, So both times it's Sha'lom, I'm learning to speak Hebrew I think the culture is awesome and there is a lot we can learn from the middle east, I think the western world is lost, Some of the oldest civilizations came from over there,

@one5643 I know,but I'm learning both English and French at this moment. I already speak English, but there is so much to learn in French and Arabic, so I don't have that much time for learning Hebrew, especially given the fact this is already fifth foreign language I've studied so far. Tell me, how similar these languages are? I tried to learn Hebrew letters, but I forgot most of them. It's not very easy to know four different scripts (Arabic, Latin, Cyrillic and Hebrew ).

I wish I spoke Hebrew...I'm learning Arabic and it would be awesome if I learned both languages. I'm a Serb, but I love Semitic languages.

Every "ancient" language is lost moron. that's what makes it ancient...nor has anyone ever claimed modern and ancient hebrew to be identical. people like yourself defeat themselves simply by speaking. keep at it;)
