it's an amazing, true sentiment...but the clap at the end makes it perfect.

The only one who calls him out is the great granddaughter, "That's not the way it goes!" during the bedtime story.

Its more than the funny moments, more than just the Burgess Meredith scenes. The 2 Grumpy Old Men movies have a certain charm to them. For example, I love how the scenery of the state of Minnesota is practically a co-star. In Grumpy Old Men we get to see how nice it looks with all that snow and ice. And in Grumpier Old Men we get to see how even nicer it looks underneath all that snow and ice. Just beautiful. Makes one want to move there to live & hopefully have Max and John as neighbors.
