this is really amazing. i love to pick songs by ear and i have areal talent for it. my mom says that if i tried hard enough that i could do exactly what you are doing but i think that would be impossible. you are really good. you make it look sooo easy.

haha there's no knowing unless you try! =]
I bet you could do it. just start with the melody. sometimes the chords are hard but this song only has a few and they're simple so i got lucky =] haha.
pursue your talent! it's a great one to have.
best of luck,
Brian

This is one of my most favorite songs. And you honored it with your music perfectly. The ending was a little devastating, but to have learned that all by ear is a skill I would love to posses. :] Good work!

haha yeah the ending was kinda just...fail. i didn't know what to do, so that's what happened. thanks for your kind comment. and you can have the skill. it's there if you want it. so go get it and play your heart out! =]

An alberti base is what you're using throughout the whole video in the left hand. Basically it's the pattern 5-1-3-1 (where 5 is the left hand small finger, 1 is the left hand thumb and 3 is the left hand middle finger). If you were to use octaves or triads in that section it would actually sound better (but only for that section; the rest of the song is great).
