But comedians such as the late George Carlin and Bill Maher acknowledged that conscious whites like you in America are an extreme minority. Pundit Gore Vidal said that USA stands for the United States of Amnesia. And the late white author Studs Terkel said that USA stands for the United States of Alzheimers. American culture and propaganda generate obtuseness and stupidity among its citizenry.

More importantly, as Ron Paul speaks of blowback from Muslim and Arab nations due to the historic and ongoing antagonism that America and the West have perpetrated against them. It is incomprehensible to me that many in the American white community lives in something of a bubble (Bill Maher has a very funny skit on this issue) when it comes to consequential thinking and logical reasoning, ratiocinating.

Yet it seems that the white supremacist status quo seems more important to many whites than does their actual economic well being. Such thinking is embedded in the psyche of white America.

The book by the white male Thomas Frank called What's the Matter with Kansas? relates just how obtuse and knee jerk racism white supremacism has traditionally relegated a critical mass of whites in America to an obstuse state of obscurantism that leaves them easily manipulated by white leadership to vote against their own best interests.
