Wow in this video, the speaker is saying exactly what came up in my mind when I broke up. Granted, it wasn't all clear cut, logical and easy to get over with even though I knew I was going through that to redefine what I wanted in a relationship. Up until very recently, I still felt lonely and sad.

Instead of hanging in there, it would be more natural to allow the emotional process flow: allow yourself to become angry to exhaustion, frustration will follow, pessimism, and so on, until one day hope will knock on the door.
