@danukenator123 How about this then...yes he creates a chord progression, as every fucking musician has to to write a song, sooo, yeah, that's a good point! He doesn't just sweep and legato the shit out of it, he has slower songs, hence the symphonies he has composed which i spoke of. And he alternate picks the shit out of things? Uhh buddy you're SUPPOSE to alternate pick...if you just do down or upstrokes you wont be very accurate or fast, so..good points?

@MABISGOD his newer stuff is much better than the old. Old Paul doesn't compare to Vai and Satch in terms of writing (with a few exceptions) but he has gotten better with time.

malmsteem is endless scales and the same riffs, he can shred, but not write, listen to gilberts blues and jazz for melody
