That was one well built silo... The louder the sound, the more weight that is giving way. So, it's compensating more an more, not always a good thing. That takes the control over fall direction away from the one with the hammer. Not really anywhere to go on the right, so you wouldn't want to get back in that corner, which is why they went that way first.
