Beluga Vocalizing/Happy Charmin Squeals

Charmin, a female beluga, was super excited to see tourists again. This was the opening day of Marineland, May 15th. The park closes for the winter in October and open in May, so this is the first time they have seen guests since the off season. The belugas were jumping all over the place with excitement, spyhopping and vocalizing all day.

The people in the background were talking about how she had lost a lot of weight on her new diet. :) She was very, very chubby but now she is slimming down!

adorable, simply adorable. you don't really realize how large a Beluga is until you see them in real life. i saw one when i was 12 at the Sheds Aquarium in Chicago and wow, they were pretty big! :)
